June 2019
I don’t know about you, but I can definitely feel the change in the air. The weather is definitely warmer and there have been a whole lot more storms lately. Though I love the rain, there has been a lot of weather devastation and I’m praying for those affected by the recent storms.
Another thing I’ve noticed is that the time is still going by way too fast. We are now five months through 2019. For those of you who made New Year’s Resolutions, have you kept them? I actually didn’t make any resolutions. So…
On to the Update! (Smooth segue)
May Update
Reading
- Well, I know I didn’t make any actual goal of reading, but I did get a few chapters of a book read. Yay! I’m off to a good start on this update so far.
Writing
- I got the edits finished! I’m so excited about that part.
- Unfortunately, I didn’t get 50,000 words like I wanted to. Life decided to make me busier than planned. I do think I got about 20,000 though. 10,000 came from just one day of writing with no distractions. I was bushed after that. 😊
Miscellaneous
- I definitely did art stuff. Lately I’ve been having a huge craving to do some watercolor. Well, this is my first attempt in many, many years of not touching the medium. There are so many things I can improve on it, but all-in-all I’m pretty happy with the result. At least I’ve got a better idea for next time. Oh, and follow along tutorials are absolutely amazing!! I do want to do a watercolor of the landscape I posted last month using the same color scheme. Only after a bit more practice though.

Let’s see what I’m gonna be attempting this month. Peeks around the corner at June
Reading
I am going to try and read at least one chapter a day of any book. This is already written down on a daily schedule. It can be a book I own or a book I need to alpha/beta read. I am planning on taking one Saturday this month and just alpha/beta reading all that day.
Writing
My focus this month will be on the fan fiction. The draft needs to be finished by this month and the edits started at the absolute least. Seriously, guys, this thing has a way too soon deadline.
Miscellaneous
Keep practicing my art, specifically sketching and watercolor. I want to try and practice drawing faces the most as that’s what I feel like I have the most trouble with.
And that’s it for this coming month. I really do hope it works out for everyone! 😊
With Blessings,
Nicolle
